digi sunday... bayview playlist

For some reason, when I'm doing digi pages, I have a thing for creating pages with no photos on them. I just love playing around with the design elements and I really love lots of journalling, so photoless pages develop easily for me. I created this page as a tribute to my home town bar. I hardly ever go there anymore, but it sure brings back memories whenever I hear typical "bayview songs" and it's gotten to the point where my hubby, who has only been in there once, will hear a song on the radio and turn it up because he knows it must be a "bayview song" :-)

When I hear these songs, I think of being just legal, coming home from university on the weekends and meeting up with my friends at the club. I think of some of the best Singapore Slings I've ever had, of the awesome customer service, of the regulars who hang out at the bar, of owner trying his best to act perturbed because we bugged him with song requests and of a friend who never let you sit out a dance. 

All that from a song playing on the radio. So I thought that the "Bayview Playlist" deserved a page dedicated to it.
