I've just realized that this photo it a little unfocussed and I'm not sure how I didn't see that before. Maybe I thought it was a smudge on my glasses?! Anyway... a super simple card to create but I love it! I am totally, head over heels in love with buttons and lucky enough to have my grandmother's collection. Those get added to my scrap layouts mostly, because I want to keep them - most of them are vintage.
A lot of the ones on this card are vintage too - I got them at a really old sewing shop that had them since the beginning of time I'm sure. Anyway, they were selling off and I got an awesome deal.
Today we are having a bit of a snow day, not enough for school to be closed, but enough to give you that feeling of wanting to stay inside and cuddle. My parents are on their way here cause my mom is doing the class I'm offering tonight and then we are going to celebrate hubby's birthday after that.
Yesterday I took a day off from posting and checked back in with my art journal and worked on some canvases and it was fun and I'm thankful for that time. Today we have to take Aiden back to the doctor and I'll be very thankful to have that off my mind. Keeping our fingers crossed that all of his tests came back fine! Keep my little man in your heart for me?
